My name is Matt Price. This is my sixth year as principal here at East Fannin Elementary. I was previously the assistant principal at EFES for four years. I am married to my wife Maureen. We have two daughters, Vera Grace (11 years old) and Sophie (10 years old), who attend Fannin County Middle and East Fannin Elementary.
I am excited to be principal at East Fannin Elementary. During my time at EFES I have had the privilege of working with an awesome and talented staff. Our students are very dear to me. We have such wonderful students that come to school excited to learn.
I believe all students can learn. It is our job as educators to meet our students' needs and help them reach their full potential and beyond. I hope in the upcoming school year and beyond that our students will continue to be excited about learning and allow us to help them be successful students and lifelong learners.
2022-2023 is going to be an exciting year at EFES. I look forward to a great year for our students, staff, parents, and our community.
My door is always open to students, parents, and the community. Your input and support is a vital contribution as we work together to ensure the success of our students. Parents are encouraged to attend all of our events. I look forward to working with you all, and know we will have a great school year.
